What We Do & How We Drive Our Mission
We design sustainable, nontoxic bedrooms that improve the quality of life and thrivorship of families. We drive our mission by:
Vetting and sharing current research regarding the effects of common household items/chemicals on human health.
Implementing and installing whole home wellness solutions in the homes of families affected by childhood cancer.
Fostering community engagement by educating, empowering, and connecting families to community partners.

Sustainable Design: Rooms to Thrive™ is a collaborative effort with DavisMade LLC, where we provide design services for our families. Still partnered with some of our favorite vendors, we now offer Rooms to Thrive™ as an in-person or e-design service. Whether your project is a gut renovation for your sick child's favorite space, bedroom, playroom, or sibling room, we can guide you in creating a sustainable, non-toxic space to contribute to your child's thrivorship and quality of life. The countless decisions of space design tend to be time-consuming and costly. Booking an expert consultation makes the process more accessible – and more fun!

More Than a Care Package—A First Step Toward Healing
At the Carsyn Neille Foundation, we know that when a family hears the words, "Your child has cancer," their world changes instantly. Our Comfort Kits are designed to meet that moment with compassion, intention, and support.
Each kit offers more than just essential items—it’s our way of saying, “We’re here, and we’ve got you.” It’s a symbolic first hug, a bridge to our broader mission, and often a family’s very first encounter with our work.
Why Comfort Kits Matter
Comfort Kits play a vital role in the lives of childhood cancer families by:
Providing immediate physical and emotional support
Introducing clean, non-toxic alternatives to common household and personal care products
Inviting families into a journey of wellness, advocacy, and informed decision-making
Each product is handpicked not only for safety but to spark curiosity: Why this soap? Why this toothpaste? What makes it different? That curiosity leads families to explore more of what we offer—like our Whole Home Wellness Coaching and Rooms to Thrive™ initiative.
The Journey Begins with a Kit
When families receive a Comfort Kit, they’re introduced to the idea of reducing toxic load—minimizing the environmental toxins, harsh chemicals, and hidden ingredients found in everyday products. These seemingly small changes can have a big impact on a child’s healing journey.
Inside every kit is a QR code linking to curated educational resources, the science behind non-toxic living, and ways to get personalized support from CNF. It’s a gentle, empowering invitation to go deeper.
What’s Inside a Comfort Kit
Each kit includes non-toxic, CNF-approved essentials such as:
Baby Unscented Liquid Castile Soap
Pure Castile Bar Soap
Organic Hand Sanitizer
All-One Toothpaste
Organic Lip Balm
A Rooms to Thrive™ must-have item (rotates quarterly)
Depending on funding and donations, additional comfort items like blankets, toys, books, or personal care extras may also be included to bring extra joy and ease during treatment.
More Than a Kit. A Lifeline.
Comfort Kits are often a family’s first encounter with the Carsyn Neille Foundation—but they are just the beginning. Through this small gesture, we open a door to:
Personalized wellness coaching
Education on toxin-free living
Emotional and community support
A holistic system of care built for the whole family
Because no family should have to face pediatric cancer alone—or uninformed.
Help us reach our goal and sponsor a Comfort Kit today to help us reach our goal.

Community-Partnered Events (CPEs), a deconstruction of our beloved Rooms to Thrive™ program. Community-Partnered Events are designed to connect families to community partners while providing curriculum-based activities focusing on wellness solutions and sustainable, non-toxic spaces.
We're broadening our impact and sharing our mission with more families via our Community-Partnered Events. In a series of events, Community-Partnered Events excite and inform families on ways to improve their family's quality of life — via wellness solutions & sustainable, non-toxic education for healthier spaces — and contribute to their children's thrivorship in bite-size, interactive, and fun workshops.
Lastly, our community-partnered events influence the intermixing of families in different seasons of life to come together and gain awareness of childhood cancer while learning about sustainable, non-toxic living and getting the opportunity to provide support and love to our resilient families.
Is your company looking to make a bigger impact on your community? Does your company want to be aligned with an impact-driven charity? Host a Community-Partnered Event in 2023.

Our Unite, Heal + Thrive Fundraising Gala is our largest formal fundraising event featuring entertainment, music, silent and live auctions, and features our organization's annual successes. It's an excellent opportunity for donors, sponsors, and vendors to meet the families we love on and serve while also getting a first look at our annual Rooms to Thrive™ room reveal.

Sustainable spaces are not a new trend.
Indoor air can make us sick. The World Health Organization identified indoor air quality and “sick building syndrome” as a significant health concern over 30 years ago, and indoor air pollution can be 2-5 times worse than outdoors.
In buildings around the world, people are exposed to harmful substances such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and phthalates, flame retardants, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), antimicrobials, bisphenol A (BPA), and nanomaterials, which are embedded in modern construction techniques, materials, and products. Sick buildings can also result from mold and fungus infestation. These issues do not receive adequate attention during regular times, but they could be deadly. They can continue to cause serious health problems as more people are confined to their homes and indoor environments.
At the Carsyn Neille Foundation, we contribute to the quality of life and thrivorship of families affected by childhood cancer by sharing wellness solutions and sustainable, non-toxic education for healthier spaces; alwhile providing community. Our homes and communities are essential foundations to build healthy lives because the built environment, directly and indirectly, impacts our wellness.

Create the Space Your Child Deserves
